It fascinates me to „surrealize“ landscape paintings in order to convey more or
less philosophical thoughts to the viewer in an almost cryptic way.
Also here the spiritual stands in the foreground. It does not matter what kind of philosophical school one belongs to. Interestingly enough, everybody finds the way back to the very same truth.
When I was 21, I was on a plane for the first time, starting a long trip I was consciously experiencing the take-off, I had to start laughing out loud and I was felling happy. It took me quite a while to calm down. Then there was the breathtaking view of the land below me: a legendary feeling of freedom.
The individual paintings tell of the greatness of the human spirit and its boundless ability to overcome space and strive high. We only have to be conscious of these things in order to achieve them.
